WALKTHROUGH

Mission 1: Reactor #1

• After getting out of the train, pick up two potions from the dead soldier.
• Follow Barret.
• Answer what your name is.
  • Tip: Press select for arrows to appear on doors and ladders.
• Keep following Barret, go under the warning sign and into the reactor.
• Talk to Barret.
• Talk to Biggs.
• Talk to Jesse, she opens the door.
• Get the Phoenix Down in the room to the right.
• Talk to Jesse, she opens the elevator.
• Go into the elevator and press the button.
• Follow Jesse out of the elevator and down the stairs.
• Go into the door.
• Talk to Jesse and go down the ladder.
• Keep going down.
• Save at the save point.
  • Tip: Save whenever you can during the game.
• Go across the bridge to the right.
• Pick up restore materia.
• Talk to Barret.
• BOSS! Fight the guard scorpion.
  • Tip: Don't attack while its tail is up.
  • Tip: Use potions if your HP gets too low.
• Equip Barret with the new Assault Gun.
• Hurry! You have ten minutes to get out.
• Talk to Jesse on the way out.
• Talk to Jesse and Biggs at the closed doors.
• After you are out, follow Barret.
• Talk to Aeris.
• Go down.
• Pick up a potion and keep going.
• Fight the Shinra soldiers. (You will have to fight them eventually if you say Later.

Train and Sector 7

• After jumping in the train and talking to everybody, keep following them down the train.
• Talk to Jesse.
• Talk to Barret.
• Get off at the Sector 7 station and talk to Barret again.
• Follow everyone into the slums to Tifa's bar.
• Talk to Barret at the entrance and go in.
• After talking to Tifa, try to go out the door.
• Talk to Tifa.

• NOTE: Unfortunately, I cannot make the entire walkthrough this detailed. Starting from here (the Sector 7 Slums), I will simply tell the basic parts of the game and point out the bosses. Also, I will not include the subquests.
